St Brides Church

St Brides Church, off Fleet Street, City of London, EC4

This is one of the oldest and most famous City churches.

It played many important roles in London's history and was destroyed and rebuilt many times over the centuries.

In 18th century it inspired a certain Mr Rich to design a novelty item that started selling "like hot cakes" and made him truly rich.

If I could only remember what it was...

A wedding cake perhaps? Yeah, I know it's obvious and it didn't need an answer, still... great shot!
