I wonder whether that was that a petition of some kind?

There is a reason behind that sign, obviously.

Any more ideas?

I'm not gonna tell you.

Yet.

Is it a trap? When you get closer to read the small print something surprising happens?

Here it is:

This door belongs to Section Six Gallery, a squat-gallery that displays art in their window at night (during the day the shutters are down). Recently, a bunch of drunks smashed the window, ruining the current exhibition and possibly the future of the whole project.

As this is a non-profit squat gallery, they cannot afford fixing the window and will probably have to find another suitable location, which I hope they'll have more success with, as I find the whole idea refreshingly ingenious.
